Healthcare - (NHS - CfH) Connecting for Health

The National Programme for IT is bringing modern computer systems into the NHS to improve patient care and services. Over the next ten years it will connect over 30,000 GP's in England to almost 300 hospitals and give patients access to their personal health and care information, transforming the way the NHS works.

As the National Application Service Provider, BT will design, deliver and manage a national patient record database and transactional messaging service which is critical to the NHS Care Records.

Telecommunications - British Telecommunications plc

BT Wholesale

BT Wholesale is considered the heart of the BT Group providing network services and solutions to communication companies. Kovenco worked with BT Wholesale through Hays IT in one of their primary Broadband Hubs supporting the ADSL, IP and DataStream connections, for corporate ISP's and customers. Kovenco provided a contractor with specialist skills in Cisco Technology to help provide Broadband IP Repair and Diagnostics, these included:- VOIP, VLANS, Router, Switching, WAN's, IP Routing and configuration management on a 24/7 basis.

BT Exact

BT Exact is BT's research, technology and IT operations business. It helps BT and its customers gain maximum advantage from communications technology, creating value and competitive advantage by combining deep knowledge of networks and networked applications. Kovenco provided a contractor through a specialist recruitment agency Hays IT with a range of cross skills.

Energy & Utilities - Powergen UK plc

Kovenco was appointed to supply IT Contractors to Powergen UK, prior to this Kovenco had no previous business relationship with Powergen. Powergen Uk plc now part of EON operate specialising in the Generation, Transmission, Distribution and Supply of Electricity in England & Wales.

Kovenco have worked with Powergen on the New Office Systems (NOS) Project , a rollout of the entire desktop, this involved an upgrade to the business units in their Midlands HQ on desktop systems from Windows NT 4.0 to Windows XP using Multicasting Technologies. Kovenco have successfully supported the Netware Novell 6.0 Servers and Windows 2000 / 2003 servers utilising Active Directory Services.

Chemicals and Gases - (EMEA) Air Products & Chemicals Inc

Founded in 1940 Air Products serves customers in technology, energy, healthcare and industrial markets worldwide with a unique portfolio of products, services and solutions, providing atmospheric gases, process and specialty gases, performance materials and chemical intermediates.

Kovenco have worked with Air Products & Chemicals plc in their European Headquarters based in Surrey within the MIS Department supporting the European Customers.

Kovenco were involved in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Line Support on their IT infrastructure, the support ranged from raising REMEDY trouble tickets in the Service Centre to 2nd and 3rd Line Support groups for problem resolution within the Service Level Agreements (SLA's). Kovenco have successfully supported the Management and Maintenance of Administering Active Directory across European Sites, Terminal Services, Citrix Metaframe XP, Exchange 5.5 to 2000 migration and were involved in the best practice, requirements and drivers for server provisioning and configuration management project.

Government - Regional Development Agency

AWM are the Regional Development Agency (RDA) for the West Midlands, the Region at the heart of the UK .  It comprises the counties of Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire; the three unitary authorities of Herefordshire, Stoke-on-Trent and Telford & Wrekin; and the seven metropolitan districts of Birmingham , Coventry , Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall and Wolverhampton. Working within the ICT Department support was provided to administer the Desktop Support Services on a Native Windows 2000 environment. We helped in the rollout PC's to the new standard desktop with imaging Multicasting Technologies and various provided 1st and 2nd Line Support.

Education - Serco & Education Walsall

Serco run two LEAs in the UK – Education Bradford and Education Walsall – where their aim is to transform educational achievement. Serco introduced a number of new strategies, such as special needs reviews and race equality policies, and over the last academic year recorded improved GCSE and A-Level results. Serco is also a major contractor to OFSTED

Kovenco have worked in various schools assisting with the national ICT curriculum for KS3 and KS4 . We are proud to have participated in the OFSTED inspection reports for schools and have used Hays Education as our primary education partner.
